Armstrong, John

ARMSTRONG, John (fl. 1901-02) was active in Grey County and Bruce County in Ontario where his name appeared as ‘architect’ on the Proclamation placed in the cornerstone of ST. JOHN’S ANGLICAN CHURCH, Bervie, Ont. completed in 1902 ( inf. Anglican Archives, Huron College, London). He may be the ‘Mr. Armstrong’ who designed ST MATTHEW’S ANGLICAN CHURCH, Bognor, Ont. in 1901 (History of Sydenham Township, 158).
